2009 Rigoletto photo gallery updated on website

Whilst preparations for the 2010 festival and opera are in full swing, Teatru Astra’s corporate festival website is geared to keep the regular visitors posted with all the developments and media releases on La Traviata and all the other festival events.

Very recently, the gallery in Opera Productions page, which can be accessed from the main menu of the website has been updated with the best pictures from the 2009 opera, Rigoletto. The 2009 Rigoletto was yet another success in the annals of Teatru Astra where patrons packed the theatre on the two full-house nights of 29 and 31 October 2009.

The Opera Productions page in the website features the posters of the all operas produced by Teatru Astra since 1978.An interesting picture gallery is available for the most recent operas, namely Otello (2003), Tosca (2004), La Boheme (2005), Pagliacci, Suor Angelica and Cavalleria Rusticana (2006), Macbeth (2007), Turandot (2008) and Rigoletto (2009). These photos were taken by Mr Joe Attard.

Efforts are currently being made by the website administration to update the gallery of older productions.Since its revamp in 2009 mediterranea.com.mt, which can also be reached also on www.teatruastra.com, has registered significant internet hits. The website is a key element in the festival marketing and information dissemination strategy. The festival committee and the website administration undertake to employ all the necessary efforts to make this internet portal an effective showcase of Gozo’s pride, Teatru Astra.
