A first for Festival Mediterranea

The ninth edition of Festival Mediterranea will include a special focus on another aspect of the local heritage, Gozo’s viticulture.  The event titled The vines of San Mitri is scheduled for Saturday 13 November at 14:00hrs.

This activity includes a lecture about Gozo's viticulture and oenology followed by a visit to the winery.  Participants will tour the picturesque terraced private vineyards, where a no herbicide rule is adopted and will eventually be treated with Gozo's unique wines, Annu and San Mitri, which will be served with Gozitan delicacies, based on hundred-year old recipies.
