Opera full-details poster published

Teatru Astra has very recently published the final La Traviata opera poster which now includes all the details of the production. Eventually, this poster is set to frame another milestone in the history of Teatru Astra. All indicators point to an all round succesful production. Two full general rehearsals which included the main singers, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and the choir were concluded successfully on Monday and Tuesday and the final touches are expected to be made in the final rehearsal of Wednesday 27 October.
The production of La Traviata on this Thursday 28 and Saturday 30 October is the second production in the records of Teatru Astra. La Traviata was first performed at Teatru Astra on Saturday 15 April 1989. Franco Vacchi was then the artistic director whilst the current Teatru Astra's resident conductor Joseph Vella was musical director.
The 2010 La Traviata opera poster was designed by Andrew Formosa and Richard Grech.
