Opera in the tenth edition of Gozo's Festival

The tenth edition of Festival Mediterranea, an annual festival of culture, featuring opera, music, dance, history and archaeology, local crafts, food and wine, and art, will be launched in the coming weeks.
Vincenzo Bellini’s Norma takes pride of place in this year's programme of events, with a double representation at Teatru Astra in Victoria - on Thursday 27 and on Saturday 29 October. Both representations start at 19.30hrs.
The booking for the highlight of this year's edition is open. During the ninth edition of Festival Mediterranea, Teatru Astra released the poster of Norma, built on a painting commissioned to Gozo artist John Grima. The poster design was finalised by Michael and Andrew Formosa.
