Teatru Astra in 'Opera'

Teatru Astra's forthcoming Norma is again being featured in another reputable magazine, this time in Opera. Following the recent inclusion in the another journal Opera Now, the September edition of Opera includes an advert of Vincenzo Bellini's Norma which will be staged in Gozo on Thursday 27 and Saturday 29 October.

Last week, Teatru Astra released the details of the main cast of the opera, which includes Greek soprano Dimitra Theodossio, who is considered to be 'the next great Norma after Maria Callas'.

Festival Mediterranea will this year be celebrating its 10th edition. Recently the programme of events has been published on its website with additional details to be published in the coming weeks. The festival runs for over three weeks, until 19 th November.

The current marketing campaign in foreign media is being supported by funds made available by the Ministry for Gozo through the Eco-Gozo budget.
