The Trojan Women at Teatru Astra this Friday

The Gozo Creative Theatre Club will be staging Euripides' Trojan Women this Friday 5 November 2010 at Teatru Astra, as part of the ninth edition of Festival Mediterranea which is currently underway.

Rehearsals for Friday's play are currently being staged at Teatru Astra. The stage crew led by Mr Carmel Zammit and Emmanuel J Farrugia where busy in the past days clearing the stage from the opera sets to pave way for the forthcoming production.

Mr George Mizzi is the artistic director of the Trojan Women.  Mr Paul Stellini is the designer, Mr Jamie Camilleri is the stage manager and Ms Ruth Portelli is the singer in the forthcoming production

Tickets for this production which starts at 20.00hrs are on sale at €8 are available from Teatru Astra. Reservations can be made on 2155 0985.
